My wife and I have shot several weddings at Rolling Meadows Ranch over the last few years and we love it as venue! We thought it might be helpful to brides-to-be to share a photographer’s perspective of this popular new event center.

There are so many beautiful wedding venues in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area so it’s not too often that one stands out above the rest. Possibly a cut above the rest. Rolling Meadows Ranch is one of those places where once you shoot there, you are counting down the days until you go back.

What can you expect at this location? Picture vast rolling hills outlined with mature trees as a backdrop; the sun just kissing the horizon. A beautiful lake with fountain is accented with a white fence, a dramatic sky stretched far behind it, adding the right amount of contrast. In the middle of it all lies the majestic barn where receptions and ceremonies take place. This newly constructed barn is full of charm and the perfect amount of rustic touch without feeling like it’s over the top. A stately stone fireplace occupies one of the main walls inside the barn but leaves plenty of room for the eyes to wander to the vast wooden beams overhead with beautiful iron chandeliers providing the right amount of ambiance during the evening. You and your guests won’t be disappointed with the rustic, up to date, charm of this gorgeous venue!

Not only does Rolling Meadows Ranch boast incredible views and ambiance, but also what an AMAZING staff! We have worked with Kelly, Donnie and Ronnie (the twin brothers we can never tell apart) and a few others and they are all amazing. This past week we had Donnie driving us around with the bride and groom to different shooting locations. Not only did he take us to several locations, but he would hold the bride's bouquet when the picture didn't require it, helped hold the bride’s long train while walking in the fields and a couple times he helped hold lighting equipment for us to get the best shots. Later that day, after a brief sprinkle of rain, I saw him down at the ceremony location wiping off chairs before guests arrived. Just before the ceremony, as the bride started to walk to the ceremony location, the bride realized that someone had forgotten the mother’s bouquet that was to be used during the ceremony. No problem! Donnie whipped the golf cart around and bolted up to the main barn to get the flowers. He returned with flowers in had just before the point in the ceremony where they were needed.

When we arrived at Rolling Meadows, Kelly was helping the bridesmaid’s setup the head table and reception area. She was always checking in to see if we needed anything and making accommodation above and beyond for both us, the bride and groom.

Rolling Meadows Ranch has a “family-run” feel but all the amenities of a large corporate venue. This picturesque location is one of our favorite places to shoot.  Between the incredible views, backdrops and accommodating staff, it’s easy to see why we love going back to this place over and over.
